Coodabeen Champions play Tank Dilemma-

Big and fuzzy piano/Hammond guy Richard Tankard – a.k.a. ‘Tank’ - leads South West Victoria’s Tank Dilemma through a soul/blues/shuffle/funk workout.

Far from being a problem, Tank Dilemma is delighting crowds and receiving rave reviews at home and elsewhere. From the remarkably fertile musical ground of Warrnambool, the band enjoyed a big 2004. Releasing their debut album “INNER SOUL” at the Port Fairy Folk Festival, they delighted crowds at the Hepburn Springs Palais, The Cornish Arms, The National Geelong, Wunta and Spirit of the Sea Festivals. Their performance at Sydney’s world famous Basement left the venue’s owner immediately securing his own copy of the out-of-towner’s CD.

Tank, the hairy keyboard guy hired by Shane Howard, Broderick Smith, The Borderers, ThinMan and Things of Stone and Wood, constructed the dilemma as a means of playing roots based Australian original music. He was also a key member of much missed and awarded act Blue Heat, whose last gig was in support to B.B.King.

The singles “He who Hesitates” and “Set the Agenda Brenda” feature regularly on ABC and Independent radio. The band however is best regarded as a fine and fearsome live act.
